EAD 800 Concepts of Educational Inquiry- S. WEILAND
This course acquainted us as learners to several major psychological perspectives involved in the learning process of various settings. We connected our own experiences to theories of learning and were given opportunities to practice using theory in real life situations.
I attached a paper I did comparing major theorists including the well known progressivist Dewey and ideas presented by Hirsch who believes in a "Core Knowledge" curriculum. I demonstrate how these seemingly opposed theorists are, in fact, very similar in their approaches.
